Dr. Mahin Darabi, BSc, BA, D.C.
Exceeding Expectations One Patient at a Time
Dr. Darabi completed her chiropractic studies in 2000 at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto. Prior to that, she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from McGill University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Ottawa University. Since then she has continued taking post graduate seminars in the areas of radiology, athletic injuries and more.

She has been treating patients with a broad range of musculo-skeletal conditions since 2002 where she practiced at Fraser Chiropractic Group. Prior to that she practiced and did her internship at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto and has experience treating a diverse patient base including teenagers, and athletes.

Dr. Darabi has a functional, biomechanical approach to treatment and in addition to providing manual therapy using a number of different techniques, including applied kinesiology, she pays particular attention to posture, ergonomic correction and exercise/stretch prescription.

Kris Miernik, RMT
Kris Miernik is a Registered Massage Therapist with over 25 years of experience. After graduating from the College of Massage Therapy in Ontario in 1994, Kris moved to Vancouver in June 1995, and started his private practice. Throughout his 25 years of working as an RMT, Kris continued to evolve and seek out education related to treatment, manual therapy, and professional development. He is currently practicing along side chiropractor, Dr. Darabi, at Laurel Chiropractic and Wellness Clinic. Outside of work, you can find Kris mountain biking, kayaking, skiing, and spending time with his family out in nature.

Jacky Edstrom, RMT
Jacky recently graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in New Westminster with over 500 hours of hands on treatment time including a 4-week outreach at GF Strong spinal clinic and a 4-week in reach with pre and post natal patients. Jacky uses a combination of active and passive modalities as well as soft tissue manipulation in her practice to address orthopedic and systemic conditions. She is constantly expanding her knowledge and skills through continuing education, workshops and seminars in the ever changing field of massage therapy. She is excited to build her practice in a multi disciplinary clinic alongside other amazing health care professionals. In her free time, Jacky enjoys camping, hiking, swimming, and spending time with her loved ones.
